Up and Coming

Storyboard/Conceptual Artist

Growing up in an artistic family I was molded as a young child to be an artist. My mother was an art teacher and I was always involved in various creative projects. Graduating with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, the curriculum was well rounded. It consisted of figure drawing, design, color theory, painting and my emphasis, of jewelry and sculpture. My degree is a special major in which my final projects consisted of dance and sculpture.
As a working artist, I have on set experience as a dancer/actress, in front of the camera, and a choreographer, behind the scenes, developing familiarity with camera angles, scene set ups, costuming, makeup and protocol on set.

I am always painting and drawing. Dance inspired my figurative style in my work which is surreal fantasy abstract. My career includes various art shows and commissions. Wanting to expand my horizons in the entertainment technology industry, I was drawn toward storyboarding and conceptual artist. With my on set experience and artistic skills, storyboarding and conceptualizing film ideas was familiar to me. Clarifying camera shots used for dynamic content stepped up my game with the experience I have thus far acquired.
